Sunergy heaters use a 316 stainless steel internal tank! This marine grade stainless steel not only provides all of the sanitary properties you expect from a water storage tank, but is also highly resistant to corrosion.

This tank is then insulated with foamed in place high density polyurethane insulation, and protected by a rolled and welded 304 stainless steel outer jacket.

Sunergy collectors are constructed of corrosion resistant aluminum with a tempered glass panel. The collector plates inside are made of a high heat absorbent alloy that ensures maximum solar energy is absorbed by the system and transferred to your water.

All other components, such as the mounting frame for the collector, brackets for the tank, and bolts are made of either aluminum or stainless steel which provides maximum corrosion resistance, giving your system a long working life.

All Sunergy Solar Water Heaters include:

1. A combination high temperature & high pressure safety relief valve. This safety valve ensures that your system is not damaged due to high incoming water pressure, and also ensures that if the water in your tank approaches an unsafe level, some of it is released and the water in the tank is cooled to ensure the safety of everyone in your building.

2. A magnesium anode to provide additional corrosion protection for your system.

3. All standard systems have no electric backup pre-installed. However, if required/requested at the time of installation/purchase a backup electric heating element can be installed, with an electronic heating controller provided for its control. These optional extras will be added at this time at no extra charge. (Please note, if the electric backup is required, power and wiring will need to be provided by an electrician)
